We are looking for a medical assistant to assist with day-to-day tasks at our busy dermatology practice. Our ideal candidate is an assistant with knowledge of dermatology and experience in a clinical role. In this position, you will be working directly with patients, collecting samples from skin lesions and preparing patients for treatment. We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional who has an interest in dermatology and an aptitude for providing customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the patient for examination.,Prepare the appropriate instruments, materials, and supplies needed for the procedure.,Cleanse and sterilize the skin of the patient.,Assist with injection of anesthetics.,Maintain records and prepare reports regarding patients' care and treatment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
